Introduction Over the last few decades, the divorce and separation have increased. Studies indicate that the millennial adults are not commitment to relationship and therefore, it makes it difficult for many marriages and relationship to last for long. It is has been established that most millennial adults prefer casual relationship rather than long term commitment and trend is influence by the way children are brought up. According to Berg, (2014), children from nontraditional families are less submissive and do not value marriages compared to children from traditional families. Therefore, this makes it easy for them to divorce or separate from relationship compared to children from traditional families.A study by Heitler (2012), reports that the behavior of children are influenced by their parents and children learn a lot from parents compared to other environments and therefore, the process of divorce or separation hurts them. In return most of them grow up disliking marriage and relationship which make them become less submissive and too defensive therefore, it affects their future relationships and marriages. Therefore, it is important to find out whether children from nontraditional families are less submissive compared to children from traditional families.Statement of the ProblemResearch has established that children from nontraditional families preferred to live a single life rather than getting committed to a relationship. This contributes high rate of divorce and separationin the society. It has been discovered that lack of commitment, less submissive to a relationship has caused a tremendous increase in the sexual promiscuity due to having bad attitude towards marriage.Purpose of the StudyThe purpose of this study is to investigate crucial factors which have made marriages to decline among the millennial generation. It is also investigate the cause of sexual promiscuity, casual dating and high divorce rate over the last two decades. The study shall also be used to analysis the behavior of children from nontraditional families and traditional families and derived on the appropriate conclusion in regard to their behaviors on relationship and marriages.HypothesisChildren who come from nontraditional families are more defensive or less submissive when it comes to relationships compared to children from traditional families.Significant of the studyThis study could be used in two different ways. It can improve awareness of the rate of increased multiple generations and therefore, it can used to address the psychological disorder among children in the society (Burns, 12). It can also be used to provide guidance to individuals affected by divorce and separation in the society so that children do not grow up being traumatized by their past experience. It can also provide detailed information which can be used to revolved conflicts and even negatives feelings or attitude associated with marriage and relationship. The study can also be used for better planning for a family with a good intention of family living together for a longer time (Hoffman and Martin, 2014). The implementation of this report can result to decline of the rate of sexuality transmitted disease in the society since casual and unstable would be addressed amicably. It can be used to nurture children from nontraditional families to have a stable and a better life since it highlights issues which affect families and therefore, provide detail recommendation how to address issues affecting children in the society.Limitation of the studyIt is evident that relationship is viewed differently and it has been proved that perspective is based on how an individual was brought up. And therefore, children from nontraditional families and children from traditional families have total different views when it comes to relationship (Johnston and Linda, 2013). However, the view of children might also depend on the financial stability and time at which the family separated. It is also noted that children from nontraditional families have a total different perception regarding relationship. This affect the aspect of their lives and therefore, it increases chances of sexual immorality in the society.MethodologyIn order to complete the research accurately and comprehensive, quantitative and qualitative techniques shall be used to gather data and analyze. The primary research shall be conducted from the field where participants shall be given questionnaires to answer for further analysis. Secondary research shall involve the use of different literature from the cadmic journals, articles and books. However, the research will be conducted using Google Scholar, Sage Journal and library where books and other useful materials shall be utilized to make sure that the objectives of the study is achieved.ParticipantsThe study shall be conducted in the community where 340 participants will be used to answer questions from questionnaires. However, to get good representation which can reflect the view of the society, the participants shall be aged between 17 years to 45years. The selection of the participants shall be based on age, family background, and level of education, gender and marital status as well. The participants shall be recruited through telephones where they will be invited to a community center where questionnaires and discussion shall be held.Apparatus or materialsSeveral materials are required to make sure that the research is done and completed within the time required. Therefore, notebooks, laptop, statistic software known as SPSS and pens shall be required to conduct the research and to make sure the study is completed with the time given.ProceduresThe primary research shall be done through questionnaire whereby participants will be given questionnaires to answer and submit. Each participant will be expected to answer questionnaire and submit back for analysis. No participants would be expected to leave the interview center with questionnaires to make sure that the information obtained is accurate. First, the participants shall be grouped based on age, marital status and level of education. This shall be done to make sure that the information obtain has a good representative of the community (Brian, 2016). Each participant would be expected to hand over his her questionnaire to the interviewer.However, the secondary data or literature shall be done through research using various academic databases such as Google Scholar and Sage. First, a search would be conducted using keywords and then result shall be analyzed to make sure that the best and relevant academic journals and articles are obtained.
