Individuals taken advantages of by the opponent in a certain way are known to be the victimized people. They are attack, hatred or given panic injuries. Their pains could enlarge to the personal freedom, family hatred, and social association or to a group of people concerned with the victim. After experiencing bad acts they are found ill both by psychologically and physically, and became an unusual burden on society. Certain are the theories examining the nature and type of victim, and the explanation concerned with the case study of the respective person as why he/she indulge in a criminal violence while other doesn’t.Self-control is one of the major issue with offenders that committed crime to harm others. Majority of the criminal investigators claims that most people lose control on their self and indulge into the acts of crimes because of having no control on their particular actions. They are used to the acts like that of harming other people. If they could have control on their deeds they might not be indulged in any of the criminal offending act or any misleading idea that may place bad effects on the social environment. Number of approaches could be applied to prevent such types of actions.Violence at private level or in family life also paved the way for the people having increased victim ratio. There could be careless approach towards the management of child. Sexual harassment by the powerful to the weaker or to the junior by the senior member of the joint family system. These actions could be stopped or controlled by the preventive measures like that of surveillance or overlooking by the mature family members.Sometimes it happened that attractive look of the victim might get attention of the criminal. That’s how the style of the life of one invites attention of those who are not use to, or not able to have the facilities like that of the person possessing such laudable qualities. To look at these cases one might change the psychology of the individual by arranging friendly environment or by providing him moral lesson via direct or indirect lessons. The victimization at the workplace invite attention of the management staff to consider matter with adequate measures. It also include harassment that may divert the specification of the work towards other motives of the one working there. To reduce such actions and to choose not to repeat such action in future, prosecution for offender must include strict punishment and psychological treatment for reduction of incidents like that in office. To keep the officials abide by the laws, rules and regulations of the concerned office it is imminent that they are overseen by the higher authority.Reformation in the criminal justice system is the core area needed to be addressed to avoid the issues of victimization. I would like to suggest the theory for victim safety and for appropriate reforms. Personal defense theory comprised of the motives that anywhere at any time, if someone attacked by the criminals, he/she could be able to safe himself. The core areas of the process would be interviews, trainings and awareness regarding the abnormal, deprive or the person who might have the intentions to harm those people which are unable to defend themselves. Group of students would be taken to engage them for the whole activity. It would also include assessment to review the case of the specific person (Wortley & Townsley, 2016).In short, victim people are full of fear, hatred and to exercise the same attack to others and expand the same crime to other members of the whole society. To prevent such cases it is imminent that crime should be dealt in a highly professional manner for complete eradication of the abuses from the society(Maxfield, 1987).ReferencesMaxfield, M. G. (1987). Lifestyle and routine activity theories of crime: Empirical studies of victimization, delinquency, and offender decision-making. Journal of Quantitative Criminology, 3(4), 275–282.Wortley, R., & Townsley, M. (2016). Environmental criminology and crime analysis (Vol. 18). Taylor & Francis.
