In 2017-2018 the rise of high demand for cars due to increase in discretionary incomes has driven the performance of motor vehicle market. In 2017-2018 the revenue of Motor Vehicle wholesaling industry is expected to rise by 3.0 per cent over the past five years that reach to $44.7 billion (Thomson, 2017). Current year the revenue will rise up by 2.5 per cent as the demand for imported vehicles is continually growing.Volkswagen Group Australia Pty Ltd was established in 2000 in Australia. The market share of the Volkswagen is 4.7 % (Thomson, 2017). The company imports and distributes motor vehicles in Australia. The most popular models that Volkswagen sold in Australia include Golf, Jetta, Passat, Polo, Scirocco, Touareg, and Tiguan. After the scandal of ‘diesel’ emission Volkswagen has negative impact on the customers. Many of the customers switched from the Volkswagen to other brands (Dowling, 2016). The profit of Volkswagen has tumbled nearly 20 % in 2016 because the customers switched from this brand. In order to remove the negative impact on the customers Volkswagen has written to all consumers to invite them for making dealership of technical measures which have applied to their vehicles (Volkswagon, 2017). According to the research conducted by ABMARC in which the vehicle was tested that showed that vehicle has average 7 % more fuel consumption (Blackburn, 2018).
